Tips for Trailering

o   Make sure Bimini Tops are fully collapsed and zipped into the storage boot.

o   Always tie the Boat Cover down securely. When trailering, use heavy-duty tie down straps (Included with all Carver Boat Covers). Avoid using bungee cords that can stretch and damage the cover and your boat’s finish.

o   Depending on the size of your boat, it may not be necessary to use all tie down loops or straps. One strap through every other loop is sufficient. Trailerable covers have tie down loops sewn every 2-3 feet around the hem.

o   Tie-off the tie down straps to the loops with a simple overhand knot so that the strap is secure.

o   Be sure that the cover is centered on the boat before tightening all straps so that the cover is taut.

o   If traveling at high speeds for long periods of time, periodic inspections of the cover and boat should be made. Check all straps and tighten if needed.
